Time in the Chapel® Weekly Teachings

Time in the Chapel has come a long way over the past few years. We have gone from using a small handheld recorder (I still have that recorder, by the way) with a little tabletop mic, to a fancy podcast mic recording to a computer hard drive, to a small AM radio station in Bucks County, PA all the way to where we find ourselves today: using streaming technology that literally reaches to the ends of the earth. One thing has not changed, though. We still have a deep passion for Christ and a desire to get to know Him better and as we dig out those little hidden and not so hidden treasures we want to shout from the rooftops “Hosanna, Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord”(Mark 11:9)

What is “Time in the Chapel®”, Anyhow?

Time in the Chapel is a weekly program that is centered exclusively on finding what Scripture means to all of us. We take the time to go in depth into God's Word to pull out what He has to say about Himself, His Son, His Spirit and, believe it or not, you and I. Most of us, at one time or another, struggle with trying to figure out “the meaning of life”. We look around and wonder why the world is what it is, why people are the way they are and what my place is in all of it. Not only do we struggle with trying to find meaning but our sensitive souls can't help but notice that others struggle with these same questions. Am I right? We weep not only for our own confusion but the spiritual torment we see in others. Well, there are answers but you have to work for them. Not “work” in the sense of doing good and not doing bad. Work in the sense that you have to seek AND believe. That's the hard part. Not that what we learn in Scripture is hard to believe..some of it can be but the hard part is putting your faith in something that the rest of the world labels as foolishness. On top of that your faith, what you choose to believe, is going to be challenged by what your eyes see and your ears hear and what your mind perceives but that is why we need to know what God has to say. Listen, He never said this was going to be easy. If you know your Bible, you know that already. But what He did say was that He would never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5) One time even the mighty Moses had a moment of fear and doubt and God said something that He has said to all of His fearful, doubting children ever since: “Surely, I will be with you” (Exodus 3:12) You see, God's Word is designed to show you that fear and doubt and even sin aren't anything that God couldn't handle; if you let Him.

On occasion we broadcast LIVE. At the moment, our LIVE teaching sessions are Sunday mornings at 11 am Eastern US time (New York) but we will, at times, broadcast LIVE during the week, as well. It is best to follow us on Facebook so that you can always be aware of the latest schedule. That, so far, has been the best place to reach the most listeners regarding our various activities.
